WHCE reserves the right to cancel an event in its sole discretion for any reason, including low enrollment, inclement weather, other circumstances that would make the event non-viable or for the convenience of WHCE. If WHCE does cancel an event, and the event is not rescheduled, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. Berta Alicia Bejarano, a Certified Diversity, Equity & Inclusion expert, leads the Language Access & Equity Practice for TPMG NorCal. Raised bilingual, Berta’s passion for advocating for patients and providing top-quality language services grew from her mother’s insistence on speaking Spanish at home. Berta's leadership includes bringing speakers like Robin DiAngelo and Betty Soskin Reid to address diversity and equity in the workforce.
